Poland Freight Transport Report Q3 2013 May 22nd 2013, 00:00 Recovery Will Take Its Time Since our last quarterly report, we have become a little gloomier about Poland’s immediate economic outlook. The main reason for this is that private consumption is still in the doldrums, weighed down by high unemployment. We have cut our GDP growth forecast for 2013 to 1.9% (down from 2.3%) and to 3.0% in 2014 (down from 3.7%). We believe a recovery is on the way, but it is slower and more drawn-out affair than we had hoped. At present the focus is on weak domestic consumption.
